Peach---white-hale

White Hale

A hybrid of J H Hale and Belle of Georgia, having a denser, meatier white flesh than Belle, and lower acid than Hale, all in a large to very large white, red speckled fruit. By many preferred to Belle as more interesting with an acidity that relieves sweetness. Easier to grow than Hale, self-fertile, longer season and not as perishable as Belle. Late August. 800 hours. On Lovell.
